Bon Voyage, the artist book from the independent publisher STUDIO WOOM, is about how the moment of travel coexists within us and melts into our life, and sometimes inflates like a fantasy. The concept of the book portrays the traveler's notebook, which contains actual drawings and pieces made and collected by the artist while traveling.
How was the illustration used: The illustration used for Artist book
How did you make this work: Illustrations are made on actual pieces of travel, such as countless tickets, certifications, memos, and ADs. I used oil pastels, charcoal, and colored pencils, and traces of travel still remain between the materials.

Biography:
Born in 1983, in South Korea. I Studied picturebook & illustrations and worked on artist books of "A piece of 4pm" and "Bon Voyage". Through the act of drawing, I look into ordinary life and rediscover it. I continue to work in the form of an artist book with questions and contemplations that I encounter in life.
