The World Illustration Awards, presented by the AOI in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, showcase great work being made by illustrators all over the world today.

The deadline was on 22nd February 2024. Judging of all entries will start soon and we will announce results from late May.

How much does it cost to enter? 

Entry fees can be paid in three currencies: GB Pounds (£), US Dollars ($) and Euros (€).

Single Entry: £32 / € 36 / $40
Multiple Entry: £53 / € 60 / $66

AOI Members receive a 20% discount on all entries. All discounts are applied automatically when you are logged in to your AOI Membership account.

We also offer a limited number of Bursary funded applications to the awards for people who can’t afford the fees. Applications are now closed for Bursary Applications for WIA2024.

Who judges the awards?

WIA Judges are experts in their sectors, and are chosen to represent a global view of illustration.
