Young Lee
Spring Scenes

Un-commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
I'm into both wine and upcycling. I painted the bottles recalling my impression on the tastes of the wine or imagining which design would go well with each bottle, and I repurposed them to be used as unique flower vases.

How was the illustration used:
This work was exhibited in Washington University in St. Louis alumni art show(Seoul, Korea) in August, 2020.

How did you make this work:
This work is a selection of spring themed wine bottle paintings, and it is painted with acrylics. I brought empty wine bottles home from restaurants and bars, and painted them.
