Alice in Wonderland - Book cover

Book Covers

Un-commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
From the series BOOKS I LOVE (a personal project I am working on as a promotion of my work), my interpretation of the book cover of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, by Lewis Carroll.

How was the illustration used:
I made the illustration for a personal purpose, to use in my website as promotion of my work. I always loved the two books of Alice, but this is the first time that I deal with them.

How did you make this work:
I made the illustration in Photoshop using only two colours. For the characterization of Alice I've been inspired more from the pictures of the real Alice Liddell, rather than model offered from the John Tenniel illustrations.
