Meeta Mastani works at the intersection of sustainable development, culture, craft, design, arts and retail.
Her social enterprise Bindaas Unlimited, based in India, makes contemporary textile prints in natural colours and contemporary crafts with rural Indian artisans since 1993.
She has co-founded online and offline stores in India. Her textile art has shown at The V&A London, The National Museum Delhi, The Dutch Costume Museum Amsterdam, The Rijksmuseum Twenthe, and The Madison Children’s Museum USA, amongst others.
She also teaches workshops on natural dyeing and hand printing of fibers.
Meeta will be judging the Exploration category.
