How did you make this work: These illustrations are from a picturebook I completed as part of my Masters course, using printmaking techniques. I worked on the offset monoprint press and combined these prints with pencil details, before digitally collaging them together. I wanted to show imagination and a magical world while conveying themes of friendship and overcoming fears.

Biography:
Meg Phipps is a British illustrator and author based in Cambridge, UK. She graduated from the Cambridge School of Art in 2023, completing a masters in children's book illustration. Before this, she studied French and Russian, so she's new to the world of illustration. During her masters she wrote and illustrated rhyming picturebooks, and is now interested in working for older audiences too.
