Why did you choose to enter this work?
I feel this is a very successful project - my illustrations work very well with the beautiful architecture and the feedback from the staff and the children who use the building has been great.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
For me it's the most important that the children of the nursery school enjoy the illustrations. The animal characters make them laugh and leave space for their own imagination as well.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It's such an honour to be selected among so much incredible talent!
What is your dream commission?
A collaboration where I get to express my own style, while working closely with other creatives across different disciplines. I love working in large scale and doing illustrations for public space.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I love drawing animals, but I also really enjoy making abstract compositions.
What are your plans for the future?
Finding interesting collaborations and bringing more interactive elements to my work. I really want my works to encourage creativity in their viewers.
