Why did you make this work:
In psychology, dissociation is any of a wide array of experiences from mild detachment from immediate surroundings to more severe detachment from physical and emotional experiences. I wanted to explore this phenomenon artistically in a series of several portraits. This is one of those portraits.

How was the illustration used:
I have used the image digitally on the Internet so far.

How did you make this work:
The graphic is completely digitally painted. I used an iPad with the painting app procreate.

Biography:
I studied sculpture in Berlin. Afterwards I worked as a teacher for 3D animation and modelling. For many years I have been developing concepts for interactive digital applications as creative director. I live and work alternately in Berlin and Hamburg.
