Why did you make this work:
I was curious about fishes, we tendentially only know a very few number of species, the ones we use to eat. Instead, there are so many different shapes and colours in our seas. working on this project was a way to satisfy my curiosity.

How was the illustration used:
I printed the poster and I sold it, it will also be distributed to some schools in the southern Italy soon.

How did you make this work:
All the fishes were individually hand painted by monochromatic watercolor pencils, then I worked on the final palette using digital tools.

Biography:
I was born in Potenza, Italy, in 1991. At the age of ten I moved to Padua, where I graduated in literature and then studied illustration at the International School of Comics. Now I live in Palermo. I like to combine the tradional approach with digital tools, and warp figures through dynamic signs. I illustrated magazine articles, books, posters and merchandise; I worked as a sketcher for music festivals and I had collaborations with indipendent fanzines. My illustrations were exhibited all over Italy.
