What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
We love the simplicity of the illustration – its loose line, black-and-white, its visual twist.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
The surprise. Not having taken part in any competition yet, it was great news to get shortlisted.
Where do you usually work?
We mostly work in an industrial loft space in the heart of Berlin – but ideas come along in all kind of situations: on a bike ride, while doodling with the kids, around the kitchen table…
How long did it take to complete your project?
Call on Monday afternoon, final files by Thursday morning :-)
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Be yourself. Experiment to figure out what your strengths are and what makes you happy.
We once got the advice to only approach clients who we feel are a match.
