Why did you choose to enter this work?
Because I worked 3 days straight day and night, I had the stupid idea to illustrate the cover with something that would normally take me a week to do. I was amazed I pulled it off and it came out well
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I decided to animate it and that was my favourite thing, bringing it to life and being creative under pressure.
Where do you usually work?
I work from my home office on a custom built huge PC that lights up like a disco. I also work from an office space in London once a week on a laptop for a change of scenery.
How long did it take to complete your project?
3 days
What is your dream commission?
My dream commission would be something for a luxury perfume brand or clothing brand or luxury jewellery. Something intricate, jewelled, floral, mesmerising!
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Foliage and typography and anything really.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep at it and don't give up.
What are your plans for the future?
To keep learning, draw more, and take up pottery.
