How was the illustration used:
Jonny Hannah was commissioned by NB Studio to create artworks for a set of 8 stamps for Royal Mail. ‘Curious Customs’ celebrates the UK’s quirky traditions – from Bog Snorkelling to Cheese Rolling. Jonny also created artworks for the presentation packs including an illustrated map of the UK and illustrating a poem written for the project by Matt Harvey.

Biography:
Jonny was born in Dunfermline, Scotland. He studied at Liverpool School of Art and The Royal College. He now lives in Southampton and has been represented by Heart since 1999. His work is an immediate and fervent style of painting and drawing with techniques that mimic the process of screen printing and lino cuts. He has worked prolifically for a wide range of clients including The Royal Shakespeare Company, Penguin Randomhouse and The Folio Society. He is currently working with Museums Northumberland on 'Northumberland Folk' a series of events and exhibitions exploring the history, stories and traditions of Northumberland.
