Why did you choose to enter this work?
I always wanted to create a packaging illustration so when I got commissioned, I did my best to create a nostalgic winter wonderland illustration and I'm really happy with the result.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
It brings me the feeling of childhood winters when everything felt magical; and works really well with the product – clean candles with a fantastic scent which brings you to a super cozy place.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It's a huge honour and achievement to me. Seeing my work among my favourite artists is a dream come true.
Where do you usually work?
I work in my cozy colourful studio where I love to spend hours and hours listening to the podcasts and drawing.
How long did it take to complete your project?
It took me about two weeks with clients feedback and final layout.
What is your dream commission?
I'd love to do more packaging illustrations projects!
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Mushrooms!
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Follow your instinct and create work that feels like you.
What are your plans for the future?
To create illustrations that inspire to make a positive change in the world.
