Why did you choose to enter this work?
This editorial project is a narrative illustration collection. Illustration could be a media to communicate with anthropology and sociology, so the main concept of this project is ‘Intersectionality’.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I use M.C. Escher style space-distorting psychedelic art style to explore how people's social and political identities combine to create different modes of situation.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It's a perfect opportunity to see more amazing works, talk to other illustrators.
Where do you usually work?
I usually work at home, with music and my dog.
How long did it take to complete your project?
Five hours.
What is your dream commission?
Editorial projects and everything about fashion!
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Animals, people and sky.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Enjoy your life! Don't stop exploring.
What are your plans for the future?
I really really want to be a better lifestyle illustrator. :)
