New TalentWhy did you make this work:
This is a picture-book that I made as my last project for my Masters in Children’s Book Illustration. It is a surreal story of a giant, who represents what we would usually describe as ‘mother earth’ but we soon realise she is a vulnerable child, much like the Earth, she needs taking care of.
How was the illustration used: These illustrations are intended to be apart of a children's picture-book.
How did you make this work: I painted these illustrations with a mixture of Indian ink and watercolour inks. I also used colour pencils to add texture. I edit bits of my illustrations on photoshop after painting.
