During my BA illustration course, we're supposed to make a picture book each semester, this book was my graduation project. Selected to the dPICTUS showcase2, the book will be published by Berby Publishing in Australia in 2021.

At the beginning, I had this image in my head: a giant bear, sleeping alone in winter time, as lonely as mountains in winter. One day, an unknown little thing arrives at his back, lightly sticks to his fur, the bear is intrigued. That was how I imagined a relationship start between a giant bear and a tiny talkative green thing. Woodblock print, collage, digital drawing are used as techniques here.

I was recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels on Children's book illustration. I studied Fine art in France and I did my exchange in London at Camberwell College of arts. My graduation book project The Bear and The Little Green Thing will be published in August 2021 with Berbay Publishing in Australia.
