Why did you make this work:
I was commissioned by Jameson to design the 2018 limited edition bottle design, released each year for St Patrick's Day. The theme of this year's bottle was collaboration and friendship, so the brief was to choose two of my fellow creative friends and design the bottle together. I chose to work with my good friends Alex Mellon, a fellow illustrator and photographer Leonn Ward.

How was the illustration used:
front back and neck labels, promotional video, POS displays and corresponding PR campaign

How did you make this work:
Our design was inspired by the Fianna, a band of warriors Irish mythology. Leonn's photography created the three characters, a modern take on the Fianna. My soaring eagle represents their combined bravery and unity, common themes in Irish folklore. Alex's delicate symbols celebrate tribes of past and present.
