Why did you make this work:
I see my baby-boomer grandma (Aaji in India) adapting and taking joy in the activities of the current generation as a way to abridge the generation gap everyone keeps talking about. Through this illustration series, (which was initially created for my portfolio) I express my fondness towards her.

How was the illustration used:
This is used as a portfolio piece from the series AAJI.

How did you make this work:
After a couple of explorations on paper the final illustration was created (illustrated and animated both) on Procreate.

Biography:
Siddhika works by the name CDKA which is just a play of letters on her name. She graduated as a graphic designer in 2019 and is currently working as a graphic designer in Bangalore, India. She has also worked with a few startup clients during college and is now building her portfolio as an illustrator.
