Preferred Pronoun?
He

Why did you choose to enter this work?
Jeremiah, the Dragon is a nice bunch of illustrations, sceneries, character design, and visual narrative. It's a mature work and represents an illustration process I've been developing over the years

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
The mixed media and techniques, from paper sculpture, using a lot of different papers, passing through gouache and acrylic painting to photography to create a nice visual narrative.

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
The recognition and being a part of a very special community of illustrators that have their particular view of illustration as art, communication, and part of our visual culture.

Where do you usually work?
Usually work at my own studio. It's a space that houses my illustration atelier and photographic studio.

How long did it take to complete your project?
Around four months from the first sketches up to the final photos.

What is your dream commission?
Creating characters for movies

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I love to create and draw characters.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep researching and experimenting with new styles, materials, and techniques. You don't need to create always with the same style, change your work and your paradigms

What are your plans for the future?
Work hard, keep researching even more, and try new things looking to push forward on each project.
