This piece was an idea inspired by the fountain of youth, it morphed into the birth of Oasis and took a life of its own. This is a personal illustration project / narrative exploration.
How was the illustration used: This artwork is a personal project and it's part of my portfolio.
How did you make this work: I sketched what I had in my mind, adding and moving around elements to find the best composition and I finalized the work using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Biography:
Carlos is a Venezuelan Illustrator, he lives and works in Brooklyn. His artwork is colorful, fun and has a humorous twist to it. He brings inanimate objects to life at times and he is able to find solutions to complex assignments through the use of symbolism and dynamic compositions. His influences include pop art, toys, abstract art, architecture and surrealism.
