The World Illustration Awards 2021 Longlist features 500 projects by New Talent and Professional illustrators from all over the world across ten categories. This speculative project, Pommme, is the brainchild of creator, Jon Hanlan. For some time, he had been Imagining product labels that would stop him in his tracks at a grocery store. These cider can labels have a lively lineup of characters and an array of vibrant colours which speak for themselves.
Jon Hanlan is a Canadian-born illustrator who specializes in beautifying products, magazines, and many other applications with his colourful and bold illustrations.
This piece was commissioned by The Pad Project, a Non-Profit who create and cultivate local and global partnerships to end period stigma and empower women and all menstruators worldwide. It highlights the impact period poverty can have on education.
Jemima Ruby is a freelance illustrator from Devon and 2020 Falmouth University Illustration graduate.

Natalia Rebrova professional UI/UX designer in game industry for more than 10 years, has formal training in media design and psychology. She has only recently focussed her creativity towards illustration.
Yellow Club Cycling commissioned three prints to be used as posters based on the three ‘Grand Tours’: Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España – the three major European professional cycling stage races in road bicycle racing. They are an independent business celebrating road cycling culture through photos and prints.
They were inspired by classic cycling posters and depicts landmarks seen during the races.
Annie Wright is a freelance illustrator and in-house graphic designer based in Bristol since graduating from UWE in illustration in 2020.
This poster was used by the scriptwriter, Christopher Plank, as promotional illustrative content for his TV series; Life Story Work. It is base on the story of a mother who must learn to balance her family and take care her adopted daughter after has pregnancy trauma and then adopting a damaged child.
Jan Zhou is an illustrator based in China and the UK, studying at the University of the Arts London.

The brief wanted a spirit of protest and unity along with the phrase ‘solo el pueblo silva al pueblo’ (only the people can save the people). To be screen printed onto fabric.

A set of packaging illustrations for Designer Toy “TenGuSan”. Japan’s TenGuSan is a cool photographer, with his brand UnDeR20. He made his first production based on his look and name.
Yizhou He currently studies and works in Italy, at the Academy of Fine arts in Florence, where he also received his Bachelors in Decoration Design.
