Reflecting on The WIA2024 Touring Exhibition at the University of Central Lancashire
As we start judging the WIA2025 entries, we’ve been reflecting on the success of WIA2024 and the touring exhibitions.
The WIA2024 Touring Exhibition opened at the PR1 Gallery at the University of Lancashire on the 11th December 2024 and continued until 24th January 2025 with free entry to all.
A private view event was held on 10th December and local newspaper The Lancashire Post reported on the exhibition.
The exhibition showcased all Award-Winning and Highly-Commended projects from WIA2024 across the ten industry-relevant categories and includes material that tells the story of the ideas, processes and artists behind the work.
We are thrilled to host the prestigious World Illustration Awards 2024 exhibition at PR1 Gallery, right here in Preston. This is a unique opportunity to showcase exceptional talent from around the globe and to celebrate the diverse and innovative world of contemporary illustration. It’s an inspiring moment for our students, staff, and the wider creative community across the North West to engage with work that is shaping the future of visual communication
