Why did you choose to enter this work?
This is a simple, unadorned, and full of life flavor zine, I like this warm real face of life, it makes me feel grounded, makes me feel that the meaning of living is in every moment of every day. At t
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I think this story is calm-paced, like daily. The objects of life that appear on each page of the book in line with the story scene are also the part that I was very feelpeaceful when I was drawing.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
I felt incredible and excited. But at the same time feel a little nervous, because I know that great illustrators from all over the world come together here, and hope to expand my illustration career
Where do you usually work?
I have my own studio where I usually think and work .My studio is named after my Chinese name: Yuanchun Studio, ©️yolandakog_illustration
How long did it take to complete your project?
It takes about half a year from conception to completion.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
People, nature, discover interesting things from life, and imaginative worlds.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Focus. Love. Lifelong learning
What are your plans for the future?
I will to draw more picture book works, both personally and commissioned.
