Why did you make this work:
Forget Me Not is an illustration based on Alzheimer's, Dementia and loss. It is inspired by my personal experience of losing my grandma a couple months back and seeing my grandpa forgetting her and everyone around her. It metaphorically shows journey of a man who cannot recognize the silhouette of his loved one even in endless dessert.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
I used procreate and photoshop for this.

Biography:
Vedika Mehra is an illustrator & visual artist from India currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is pursuing her MFA in illustration at SCAD. She likes to illustrate her feelings and thoughts through visual storytelling. She mostly works with digital media, and her style is graphic and metaphorical. Her artworks dwell on human emotions, imaginations and nostalgia inspired by everyday life
