- Why did you create this work?
Forget Me Not is an illustration based on Alzheimer's, Dementia and loss. It is inspired by my personal experience of losing my grandma a couple months back and seeing my grandpa forgetting her and everyone around her. It metaphorically shows journey of a man who cannot recognize the silhouette of his loved one even in endless dessert. - How were your illustrations used?

Vedika Mehra is an illustrator & visual artist from India currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is pursuing her MFA in illustration at SCAD.
