Why did you make this work:
The brief was to create a packaging illustration for a Specaility Coffee variety with its origin in the Democratic Republic Of Congo (in German: Kongo), so it was very obvious to come up with the idea for the name »King Kongo«. The King of the Kongo. A huge eye is starring at you through the jungle leaves. A cherry orange coloured eye, like the taste of the coffee.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration has been used for a coffee packaging for Playground Coffee Hamburg as well as a poster for their clients.

How did you make this work:
It’s made with Adobe Illustrator. Animation with Adobe After Effects.
