  • Why did you create this work?
The NAWAREUM is a hands-on museum located in Straubing, Bavaria, where visitors can delve into subjects such as nature, climate change, plant life, conservation, and cutting-edge technology, all with a focus on sustainability. With 3 animation videos we got to explore carbon, photosynthesis and wood gasification; and explain them in an understandable and charming way
  • How were your illustrations used?
The animations are played on screens throughout the museum.
  • What materials and techniques did you use?
After making a concept, scripting and story-boarding, together with the museum, the illustrations were finished using Photoshop and Illustrator. With the files ready and prepped for animation, the animators Vera Mayrhofer and Katharina Petsche could do their magic! But as important as visuals is audio, that's why we brought in the sound designer Marko Sulz and a voice over from Findlay Mackay.
