What excites you most about being shortlisted?
I'm excited that more people will hopefully see the important political and social commentary I was trying to communicate through my work
Where do you usually work?
I work wherever inspiration strikes me...which is usually on my couch and with terrible posture
How long did it take to complete your project?
I consider this an ongoing project. There will always be important topics that I will want to highlight
What is your dream commission?
If I can't shadow Banksy in the deep of night then I'd imagine it would be pretty cool do a cover for TIME magazine
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
A visual forced connection between two unlike things
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Your work doesn't have to be serious in order to be important. Finding ways to create light in darkness will feed your soul.
What are your plans for the future?
I consider myself an artist but also a political activist. I believe in the future I will always find myself creating and making a statement in some form.
