Why did you make this work:
This illustration is a commission for the cover of a children's book which deals with the subjects of diversity, acceptance and respect.

How was the illustration used:
The following illustration will be the cover of a children's book entitled, “The Rare, Tiny Flower”.

How did you make this work:
I have worked with many sketches and I have always taken into account that colour is another character in the story. To bring this feature to the forefront, I have made considerable use of spaces in shades of white and gray.

Biography:
Quim was born in a small village near Barcelona, he is passionate about telling stories through drawing. Since 2011 he lives in Barcelona where he studied a degree in illustration at the EINA school. His work has been published in national and international publishing houses. He currently combines illustration with the creation of workshops where he uses drawing as a tool for self-discovery.
