These illustrations are the part of my silent book «Wolf swarm». It tells the story of a girl who is chased by wolves, which is a metaphor for living with depression. Highlighting and destigmatization of people with mental disorders is very important for me as a person who also struggles with depression.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
It was made in mixed media technique, which includes oil monotype, colored pencils, oil and wax pastels, watercolor and a bit of digital cleaning in post-processing
How were your illustrations used: This is an unpublished picturebook. It consists of about 80 pages, about half of them is ready. The whole project is still a work in progress due to its scope and complexity.

Olha Lisowska is an artist from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She mainly works as a book and editorial illustrator, using manual and computer graphics. Also she combines her career as an illustrator with exhibition activities as an graphic artist.
