Why did you make this work:
I am aiming to visualise a spiritual journey when people are seeking their identity and inner peace. In this project, I merge all I have learnt, such as how to use lines, how to collage different materials and textures, and one of the most important things in my project: how to leave space and create imaginations in my images. My present style is influenced by etching and graphic design.

Biography:
Lu Xu has graduated from MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in London a few months ago (however, it is a pity that it was affected by the Covid for much time). Before that, her study and work experience were more related to ‘word’. For now, besides an illustrator, she is also working as a graphic designer, an exhibition curator, and a writer.
