This was a story I illustrated for Folktale Week on Instagram 2023. It was a story about a little girl who gets lost in the wood and meets a little fox. The little fox comforts her and helps her. She spends the night sleeping in the forest and in the morning her mother finds her again and the little fox says goodbye.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
The pictures were predominantly made using digital collage in procreate, with a little hand-made texture.
How were your illustrations used: They were posted on instagram during the Folktale Week challenge in Autumn 2023.

Biography:
Lemady is an illustrator and teacher. She won the Northern Illustration Prize in 2023. In the last few months Lemady has started to work as an Illustrator with Bright Agency. Originally from the UK, she now lives in Switzerland. Her illustrations are made through a collage approach, predominantly in procreate, with some hand-made textures. She is interested in portraying intimacy and emotion.
