Why did you create this work?
Every year, Hotel Tango Distillery invites an artist to recreate their vodka packaging during Pride Month. My artwork is an unapologetically fun and free celebration of everything that makes the LGBTQIA+ community special, with all its people and colors. It highlights the importance of fighting for our rights so we can all have the opportunity to enjoy life at its best.
How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations I created for the packaging were also adapted to social media marketing, merchandising, and an AR filter that allows consumers to see the packaging coming to life as animations.
What materials and techniques did you use?
Vector-based tools like Adobe Illustrator.

Biography
I’m a graphic artist from São Paulo, Brazil. I’ve been leading illustration projects both as a solo multidisciplinary artist and as head of my own illustration studio, Barca. My work comprises a blend of themes including queer culture, science fiction, fantasy, and Japanese culture – all combined with a playful, at times melancholic, and frequently humorous touch.
