Why did you make this work:
This self-initiated work was created for stylistic development, exploring the sculptural aspects of the male form, and self-promotion as an Illustrator.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
I used Procreate on the iPad Pro. Taking inspiration from vintage beefcake photography and early gay printed media.

Biography:
Jake (he/him) is an experienced conceptual Illustrator and multidisciplinary Designer based in London. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Illustration from Falmouth University. Passionate about creating impactful visual storytelling, Jake has worked with clients such as The Washington Post, Gay Times, The Big Issue, and The Telegraph.
