El Burnard
Procrastination: A student’s worst enemy?

Editorial

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
To produce a speculative editorial illustration in response to a Guardian article on the subject of procrastination, how students are hardwired to waste time whilst temptations surround them.

How was the illustration used:
This piece was used in the final year promotional book for Falmouth University titled 'Wunderkammer'.

How did you make this work:
I created this piece digitally and chose this article as being a student made it a very relatable topic. I tried to illustrate that feeling of having work building up all around you making you feel isolated, whilst distractions are constantly around you tempting you to just put it off until tomorrow. It's important to define a space for work and a space for play.
