Daehyun Kim was born in 1980 in Seoul, where he also studied Oriental Painting. After graduating from university, he started to create his characteristic drawings, called “Moonassi series”. It is mostly about his daily thoughts, feelings, and inner conflicts. Daehyun only uses black colour because he thinks that it is enough to express what he wants to depict. Not only making art for himself, he also works as an illustrator for magazine, newspaper, and brand from all around the world.
