Why did you make this work:
The brief called for an image of three children in the Welsh valleys during WW2 and said that "the cover... should be as accessible and wide-reaching as possible" and to "immediately say adventure and mystery".

How was the illustration used:
Wraparound book cover for a children's novel aimed at 9-12 yr old readers.
