Bebel Books & Mandacaru
Bebel graduated from the Federal University of Espírito Santo, with Master degree at the University of São Paulo, having worked as Events Coordinator of Abril Publisher before founding her own companies: Bebel Books and Mandacaru (this with art director and sister Manaira), respectively an independent publisher and a studio for exhibitions and cultural events. Both have international presence, developing projects and presentations or distributing books in Europe, Latin and North America, representing the work of artists such German graphic designer Pierre Mendell and Argentinean cartoonist Liniers, as well as Alvaro Abreu (Brazil) and Hans Hansen (Germany). Bebel is also the partner in Brazil of the international platform What Design Can Do and collaborator of ELCAF.
