Dorien grew up in the Netherlands and moved to the UK where she worked as a designer with clients like the Prado Museum & Tate Modern to Pearson Publishing. Her debut was ‘The Remarkable Pigeon’. Hachette acquired her 2 latest picture books and she is currently illustrating a new book for Penguin. ‘Sail’ was shortlisted for the illustrators exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. - Where are you currently based?
