Description
Led by creative consultant Alison Branagan, this hour long consultation will help you get a business plan in place or review an existing one.
Particular areas of focus will be:
- Starting Up: the nuts and bolts. From registering yourself as self employed, to managing finances in the early years.
- Goal Setting: Getting clear on what you want to achieve in a 1,3 and 5 year plan, and what you need to do to make that happen.
- Money Management: Understanding tax, profit, trading expenses and cash flow. (Note that this is an overview and not financial advice)
- Promotion: Developing a 360degree campaign to promote an exhibition, new style or range of products.
- Making the Next Move: How to re-position yourself mid career; perhaps your family caring responsibilities have changed, or your style is not working for you any more. How can you change it up?
Alison Branagan is an author, visual artist and consultant on the creative industries. She is also an associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins.
