In McIndoe’s work his subjects – flowers – embody deeper emotions, going beyond simple representations of aesthetic beauty to reflect his personal angst and internal conflict towards wider political and religious issues, their graceful image transformed into symbols of silent protest.
Vincent McIndoe is a Canadian artist and illustrator. He attracts attention in both the commercial and gallery worlds, and his established career in illustration runs parallel to his fine art practice.
His illustrations have been commissioned by Moet and Chandon, Stolichnaya Vodka, The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post corporation.
