AOI Members feature in Computer Arts Magazine
The AOI is delighted to partner with Computer Arts for a series of articles about the business of illustration! There’s lots of exiting things to share with all illustrators striving to achieve great careers, and we thought we’d make way for our amazing members to tell you a thing or two about their experiences.
In this November Issue; London-based Illustrator Vic Lee talks ‘The Art of Negotiation’ drawing from his own experience in the industry and why communication and relationships are so important.
“It’s tough at the beginning to say no, as you think you will never earn anything ever again, but you have to value your own self-worth”.
Additionally, AOI Member Willa Gebbie also gives her insight on Pricing in the October Issue for our very first article.
“Working for free? No way. Not for a company who is profiting for it. There are much better ways to work for free, such as collaborating with other artists on personal projects, so I do that instead.”
Find both issues in the Future Publishing shop, and watch out for the next publication featuring member John Bond on Self-Promotion!
