Annual Report and AGM
The AOI’s Annual General Meeting for 2016 2017 took place on Monday 16 April at Somerset House, London.
The Financial Year 2016 2017 (which for the AOI runs from October to September) was really successful. We welcomed new members, held sell out events up and down the country (and internationally), had record numbers entering our awards and relaunched Varoom. The meeting approved the minutes of the last meeting. Board members Roderick Mills and Vicki Willden Lebrecht retired and stood for re-election in line with the Articles and were both re-elected.
Three resolutions were passed to adjust the Articles of Association regarding the make up and remuneration of the board as well as bringing the documents in line with the 2006 Companies Act.
