Combining a background in archaeology and illustration has led me to specialise in Heritage Illustration, but I also love to create illustrations for books, stories and concepts.
My heritage skills combine hand drawn illustration, technical drawing, graphic design and desktop publishing which allow for a range of cross-platform visual realisation of archaeological graphics and reconstructions. My illustration work has a distinct style combining traditional pencil drawing and digital techniques. I enjoy exploring new approaches and overcoming challenges to create my work.
I have a Master’s degree in ‘Illustration: Visual Communication’ with the Interactive Design Institute: University of Hertfordshire, in which I have started to explore the possibilities of interactive and animated illustration and the creation of e-publications.
