Shona Shirley Macdonald

Originally from Aberdeenshire in Scotland, Shona studied Animation at Edinburgh College of Art, and now lives in Ireland. Past projects include murals, concept artwork, poster illustration, and comic & book illustration, the most recent book being a collection of W. B. Yeats poetry for children,’The Moon Spun Round’, published by The O’Brien Press. Asides from working on commissioned illustration projects she also exhibits her work, and her solo exhibition ‘Juniper’ has toured throughout the north and south of Ireland. Also she is director and illustrator of Mireog which sells Irish language & eco friendly products. Currently working on her own written/illustrated books.
