The psychological pressure of witnessing the daily distress of life under Occupation shocked to such a deep level that tenderness was my balm, whilst I struggled to search for my artistic response to the political and humanitarian situation. The loss of my first baby and my love for the Palestinian feminist doctor who saved my life planted my roots and connection to womenkind; their personal stories with their bodies, their roots, their strength.
