Based in North Hampshire I have a working background in mapping and cartography & specialise in illustrated and hand-drawn illustrated maps. My work is best described as expressive and colourful with lots of details & textures. Colours and patterns are important aspects in my work. I draw my inspiration from everyday objects & textures, architecture, the natural world, town and cityscapes and travelling. While I have an accessible and hand-drawn style, all the maps I design & produce are firmly rooted in cartographic reality.
