Psychological Stress and Wellbeing Workshop (on Zoom)
Dr Sally Easton is an attachment psychologist and psychotherapist. She manages a wellbeing college for a mental health organisation, works with young people with multiple complex needs, and delivers training in mental health and wellbeing. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology, post graduate degrees in teaching and research, a doctorate in psychology and is a certified Third Wave CBT practitioner.
The workshop will be in 3 sections of about 20 minutes each, with short breaks between:
Stress: What psychological stress is and why prolonged stress can be damaging to physical and mental health
5 Ways to Wellbeing: Simple changes to improve our physical and mental health
Mindset: Negative thought patterns and how to change them
What You’ll Learn
You will understand the science behind the experience of prolonged stress, explained in simple and accessible terms. You will also learn practical tips and tools, supported by scientific research, to improve resilience, mental health and wellbeing.
There will be time for questions and contributions.
