I Go to School by Bus – Exhibition: Don Mak

This is the first art exhibition of the work of Don Mak to be held in the UK. Mak is an illustrator from Hong Kong who relocated to the UK in 2021.

This exhibition showcases two sets of Mak’s paintings: the first set is called “Once Upon a Hong Kong”, an illustration series for the same-named picture book published in 2019, depicting the sceneries of Hong Kong around 2018; the second set is the England scenery paintings, created during Mak’s period of relocation.
