Wrap up your Summer on a creative high!

Join hosts Nick and Frances Moffatt, freelance illustrators and founders of The School of Illustration, for the very first Illustration Hub/AOI Meet Up in Newcastle at the wonderful Seven Stories – The National Centre for Children’s Books.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the very first AOI Meet Up Group based in the North East, and to help build a thriving, inclusive community that represents and supports the wealth of illustration talent within the region. This Meet Up is for all illustrators at every stage of their creative journey, from beginners to seasoned professionals.

This will be a relaxed and informal event, with talks, activities and networking in Seven Stories’ lovely café and bookshop. Drinks, snacks and of course beautifully illustrated children’s books will be available to purchase throughout the evening PLUS all the galleries will remain open! So you’ll be able to enjoy an exclusive after hours browse of all the current exhibitions including the ‘Wildwoods’ gallery, inspired by the theme of magic, with amazing original artwork from Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Discworld and more.
